The Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells occupies one sixth of the floorspace within Hall 13. It means around 3,000 m2 are occupied by the exhibitors who come from 32 different countries. This space keeps on growing year after year as well as the importance of the Group Exhibit.
Arno A. Evers launched a new idea during the Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells HANNOVER FAIR 2005. Now it is a reality and twelve teams from all over the world are coming to present their innovative ideas. His motivation was to give opportunities to those who have good ideas. “Think bigger” he says, “we have to connect the good ideas”.
Megan McCool (in the center) was in charge of the organization of the competition. “Students, Universities and individuals have applied, it was very interesting to talk with people all around the world and to know the ideas”. Exhibitors are encouraged to vote their favorite Hydrogen Ambassadors Team. The winners would be announced on Wednesday evening.
This is a very commercial corner in the Group Exhibit: Plug Power, Siemens, Idatech are showing their products. This event is their right market place.
The Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells has become really a worldwide event. This year companies from 32 countries are coming to the Group Exhibit, fifty percent more than the last year. “It´s funny, by coincidence”, Arno said, “the same number of countries which participate in the World Championship”.
Fuel Cells have given smart solutions for special industry sectors. In mobile applications this technology offers longer operating time than conventional technologies.

One of the important targets of Arno is the spreading of the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell concepts and advantages, among society, including politics.
Arno A. Evers is showing the booth of h-tec Education Wasserstoff-Energie-Systeme GmbH. This company was founded 1995. They believe that education is the future and provide educative material to schools and Universities. Now they are also planning to apply their knowledge to industry applications.
One of the challenges of the Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells is to give small countries and companies which are very motivated the opportunity of show their new ideas and see their evolution “very soon, sure”, Arno says. Arno A. Evers invited Honda to come to HANNOVER FAIR during a Congress in California. The vision of Arno A. Evers about vehicles powered by Fuel Cells involves the use of it as an electricity generator when it is not being used because the 95% of the time it is not in movement. The power of the Fuel Cell inside this car (50 kW) is enough to supply enough electricity for around ten households.
