Biography Shi Dinghuan
Mr. Shi Dinghuan, graduated from Engineering Physics Department
of Qianghua University in July 1967, majoring in Nuclear Physics,
Mr. Shi was working in the Institute of Nuclear Technology
of Qinghua University from 1973 to 1980, since then, he has
been working in National Science and Technology Commission
of China, up to now, which is named as MOST. He was once appointed
as a vice-section chief of forecasting bureau, vice-chief
of Industrial Science & Technology Department, vice-director
of High Tech Development & Industrialization Department
(equal to a director of a bureau).
In August 2001, Mr. Shi was acting as Secretary General of
MOST. From August 2001 to now, Mr. Shi has also been acting
as a member of Long Term Project Planning Office for National
Science & Technology Development and a chief of Strategic
Research Group.
In March 2004, Mr. Shi now appointed as a consultant of State
Council of China.
Mr. Shi, has been for a long time, responsible for the works
as below:
— Formulating energy strategy & policy
— Formulating S & T developing strategy & plans
— Managing S & T plans of State and Key projects
of the nations
— Organizing practice of high technology industrialization
and have international cooperative projects in S & T.
Mr. Shi has been participating in S & T Cooperative Work
between China and Germany in the field of energy and transfer.
He, at present, is acting at China side, as a chairman of
instructive committee of Renewable Energy & Transfer project
of MOST and German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building
and Housing. Mr. Nagel, acting at Germany side, as a chairman
of the Committee, is now a Secretary of State Council of Germany.
