Party of Germany, Member of Bavarian Parliament
At the booth of EUHYFIS - Hydrogen Filling Station Consortium Dr.
Robert Steinberger-Wilckens and Dipl.-Phys. Klaus Stolzenburg talked
with Renate Schmidt about the possible first EUHYFIS filling station
in Munich, Germany.
"My
impression is that the small companies, here on the Group Exhibits
"Hydrogen and Fuel Cells", have really intelligent and
new ideas and try to realize them with a little staff. We have to
assure the political and legal framework for these companies. The
future is right here, and we have to stop thinking following old-fashioned
patterns. Thanks to hydrogen and fuel cell technology we can get
rid of fossil fuels in a medium term."
Renate Schmidt visited the German Hydrogen Association (DWV) and
was offered assistance by Eberhard Behrend in all questions concerning
renewable energies, in particular for hydrogen technologies, for
their party programme.
Renate Schmidt visited the booth of the DaimlerChrysler AG, Fuel
Cell Project, together with the XCELLSiS GmbH, and Jochen Straub
(XCELLSiS) explained to her the Necar 5 system.
Visiting the booth of wiba - Coordination Center of the Hydrogen
Initiative Bavaria Renate Schmidt was happy to see Bavaria well
represented with the Group Exhibits Hydrogen + Fuel Cells.
Arno A. Evers, organizer of the Groups Exhibits Hydrogen + Fuel
Cells, welcomed Renate Schmidt to his booth at the HANNOVER FAIR
2001 .

for mobile and stationary applications. The Bavarian politician
has been particularly interested in the performances of Bavarian
companies at the Group Exhibits "Hydrogen and Fuel Cells".
