Fair 2003.

Ulrich Walter introduces Arno A.
Evers, the founder and owner of Arno A. Evers FAIR-PR
and Marc Fleiner, vice president of marketing for IDA
TECH.
Arno A. Evers explains the progress done by hydrogen
and Fuel Cells in the past 9 years at the Hannover Fair.
This years exhibition features 99 participants from
19 different countries.

The new concept of a virtual fair
is presented at the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells group exhibition
this year. Arno A. Evers stated that you can be part
of the fair without physically attending it.
This year the Arno A. Evers
FAIR-PR forum is run completely by the FCS 1200 provided
by IDA TECH. Throughout the week this 1 kW fuel cell
system will power 6 TFT monitors.

Daimler Chrysler is presenting a Mercedes completely
running on Fuel Cells. Alexandra Huß presents
this prototype which is already out on the streets.
Another 60 cars are to be produced during the next year.

Jochen Straub from the marketing department of Ballard
is showing the mobile fuel cell unit already implanted
in cars manufactured by Ford and Daimler Chrysler. Ballard
also presents the Nexa Power Module, an alternative
solution of power supply.

Andres Clouman, Marketing Director of Norsk Hydro Electrolysers,
explains the use of combined renewable energies on the
basis of hydrogen and Fuel Cells. This model will be
realized in Iceland in the next few years – the
first fuel station for hydrogen in Iceland will be opened
in three weeks.

Ulf Groos, from the marketing department of the Fraunhofer
Institute for solar energy-systems, is presenting a
fuel cell application, using hydrogen to power a camera
for 8 hours of operation.

This futuristic car is an exhibit of General Motors
and the Adam Opel AG. The platform consists of a hydrogen
storage and the steering system and can be combined
with any car body.
