Opel and GM present HydroGen3, a prototype
Fuel Cell vehicle. Compared with it's
predecessors, the new Fuel Cell called
ZAFIRA has a propulsion system, which
has been improved to allow optimum
packaging of the individual components
in the vehicle.
At the Opel and GM booth, visitors
are invited to watch various 3D animations
explaining how a Fuel Cell vehicle
functions and how hydrogen is produced
from renewables.
The General Motors 25kW Regenerative Stationary
Fuel Cell Power System is based on General
Motors' Fuel Cell technology and provides
a new innovative way to supply electricity.
The system uses
a modular design concept consisting
of a Fuel Cell Power Module, an Electrolyzer
and a Hydrogen Storage Module. The electrolyser
produces hydrogen from water. The Hydrogen
is then compressed and stored under
pressure. On demand the Fuel Cell creates
electricity by using the stored hydrogen.
