State of the World Car Market 2006
According to F1 Racing, USA's car sales occupy the commanding position in the world's car market 2006. Car sales stood by 16,6 million untis per year with an average price of roughly 28.300 US$ per car. Its annual market value is estimated at 470 billion US$, the largest in the world. At the same time, 5,7 million cars were sold in Japan at an average price of 22.600 US$ creating an annual market value of 129 billion US$. The avarage price of cars were highest in the five european countries, Germany, Britain, Italy, France and Spain, with sales ranging from 3,3 million units in Germany to 1,7 in Spain.
The cheapest cars were sold in China at an average prise of 9.100 US$, amounting an annual market value of 44 billion US$. With the development of the car industry in China, the country is, of course, the car key market for the future.
