10 YEARS
OF HANNOVER FAIR’S HYDROGEN + FUEL CELLS EXHIBIT
Delegates to the IPHE at Washington, DC invited:
“Time to see the hydrogen economy in action”
(STARNBERG, GERMANY/WASHINGTON DC, 20 November 2003) Delegates
to the International
Partnership for the Hydrogen Economy Conference currently
taking place in Washington DC have been invited to see "Hydrogen
and Fuel Cells in action” at the next Hannover
Fair in Germany, April 19-24, 2004.
In a letter to delegates of the Washington conference, Hydrogen
+ Fuel Cells Group Exhibit founder, Mr.
Arno A. Evers stated: “For many
years now, energy experts,
environmental advocates and governments
across the globe have spoken about the emerging ‘hydrogen
economy’. The applications of fuel cells have been discussed
over and over. Hundreds of plans have been formulated, many
lofty speeches have been delivered and a multitude of position
papers have been drafted.”
Evers’ letter continues: “At the same time, a
small but growing group of global players from the automotive
and chemical industries, together with market leaders from
the emerging fuel cells industry joined by smaller companies,
entrepreneurs, and scientists have been exhibiting real life,
commercial products and peripherals for the Hydrogen and Fuel
Cells market at the annual Hannover
Fair, the largest Industry and Energy fair worldwide.”
Over the last ten
years, a growing number of companies in the renewable
energy field have exhibited their hardware at the Hannover
Fair’s Group Exhibit - Hydrogen + Fuel Cells (H2/FC)
which has developed into the largest H2/FC commercial gathering
worldwide. Some 100 exhibitors
from around 20 countries are expected to demonstrate that
today Hydrogen and Fuel Cells is a growing, commercial and
feasible enterprise taking an ever increasing, important role
in the energy sector.
Arno A. Evers concluded his letter by saying, “As you
gather here in Washington, I strongly believe that for this
international undertaking to succeed, the partnership countries
have to witness that there really is an emerging market place
for the technology that supports their vision. I would like
to take this opportunity to invite you to attend the Fair
and give you the chance to see today’s real Hydrogen
and Fuel Cells world in action.”
