The German Chancellor, Gerhard Schroeder, Berlin (left) was explained by Kai Klinder, Marketing Management Fuel Cells of Vaillant GmbH (right) how their Fuel Cell Heating Appliance works. In the middle: Michael Rogowski, President of the BDI.
Kai Klinder asked the Chancellor for more political and financial support, not only for the medium enterprise Vaillant, but especially for the component suppliers during the development phase of this Fuel Cell Application.
Answering the question of Gerhard Schroeder if he could already buy one, Vaillant representatives said that they are still working hard to improve the Fuel-cell Heating Appliance.

The Chancellor also spoke to Dr. William D. Ernst, Vice President and Chief Scientist, and other representatives from Plug Power from Albany, NY, USA.

During this short visit, Arno A. Evers, Organizer of the Group Exhibit, reminded Chancellor Schroeder of his visit at last HANNOVER FAIR and explained to him the growth of the Group Exhibit.

Chancellor Schroeder was very impressed to hear about the expansion of the Group Exhibit from 70 to 96 exhibitors from 11 countries within one year.
