HYDROGEN TODAY - HIDROGENO HOY

Buenos Aires, Argentina, May 18, 2004:
Arno A. Evers was promoting Hydrogen in Argentina
together with three other Hydrogen Experts from Canada, Japan and Germany
(Click here to see the CV of the Experts)

The hearing at the National Congress

Placio del Congreso at Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Palace, topped by an 85 meter green-hued copper dome, was completed in 1906. The Monument's enormous granite steps sybolize the high Andes, while the fountain at its base represents the Atlantic Ocean.

The meeting to promote Hydrogen in Argentina took place in the "Blue Saloon" at the Placio del Congreso

Dr. Daniel Scioli - Vicepresidente de la Nación y Presidente del Senado at his opening session of the hearing to promote Hydrogen in Argentina.

The international Experts, together with top representatives from Argentina:

Arno A. Evers from Arno A. Evers FAIR-PR at his presentation. He said, among other arguments: "Argentina has the possibility to supply most of the world's future Hydrogen needs based on its wind power availability. The involvement of the Argentinean Government and support for Research and Development in this area should be more closely examined. Human resources and knowledge are currently available worldwide, however, funding, guidelines and direction are needed to launch Argentina's initiative
The time to act is now!"

Visit at Capex S.A., Buenos Aires, Argentina

At their visit to Argentina, the Hydrogen Experts from Canada and Germany also visited Capex S.A.. The company was created in 1988 to develop exploration, production and power generation projects. Capex is today one of the major thermal power generators in Argentina. The Power Plant in the Agua del Cajón area, province of Neuquén, is located right above gas reserves that are used as fuel for the Plant.

The Experts had the opportunity to talk about a proposed presentation, which will be given by CAPSA -Capex S.A.-Interenergy together with Argentinean Wind Energy Association (AAEE),Ministry of Infrastructure of Buenos Aires Province,Provincial Secretary of Energy, National Technological University,Argentina about the topics:
The Martín arcía Island Proposal (AAEE)
Large-Scale Wind Hydrogen Production in the Argentine Patagonia (CAPSA)
This presentation will be held at International Conference for Renewable Energies Bonn, Germany, June 1, 2004.
