August 2002, Beijing
First visit by Arno A. Evers (AAE) and Tobias Renz (TR) in Beijing - meetings with Prof. MAO from Tsinghua University, Beijing, and his assistants. First meeting at Ministry of Science and Technology, (MOST) in Beijing with Jing XU, Assistant to Director General.

December 2002, Shanghai
First meeting AAE with James DING from Shanghai Shen Zheng Int'l Business Consultant Co., Ltd., (SSZ) in Shanghai. SSZ was the organizer of Shanghai Fuel Cell Vehicle Forum, Shanghai, PR China, December 4-5, 2002. Title of AAE’s presentation: “Hydrogen and Fuel Cells on their road to commercialization”. AAE was also exhibitor at this international conference.

June 2003, Shanghai
Preparation meetings in Shanghai by AAE and TR together with James DING from SSZ.

November 2003, Shanghai
Visit by AAE to Shanghai International Industry Fair (SIF) at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pudong New Area, November 6-12, 2003, Shanghai.

November 2003, Shanghai / Beijing
Visit by AAE to Energy Asia at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pudong New Area, November 18-21, 2003, Shanghai. Meeting with representatives from Beijing HaoZhi Fair and MOST in Beijing.

February 2004, Shanghai / Beijing
Meetings in Shanghai with top representatives from Hydrogen and Fuel Cells companies and institutions. AAE and TR met with Qi`an WANG, MOST, in Beijing. Further meetings with high ranking H2/FC representatives in Beijing and Shanghai. AAE and TR presented work to around 100 Chinese experts.

February 2004, Shanghai / Beijing
AAE and TR held first dinner meeting with Dinghuan SHI, General Secretary, MOST in Beijing. Additional meetings with H2/FC experts in Beijing and Shanghai.

March 2004, Berlin, Germany
AAE held breakfast meeting (No. 2) with Dinghuan SHI, General Secretary, MOST in Berlin, Germany during his visit with the Manfred Stolpe, German Federal Minister of Transport, Building and Housing.

April 2004, Hannover, Germany
"Day of Chinese Cooperation" at the Group Exhibit - Hydrogen + Fuel Cells, Hannover Fair 2004. Four representatives from MOST and other high-ranking representatives from Chinese companies/institutions discussed the possibilities to cooperate in China with our exhibitors.

May 2004, Beijing
TR met Dinghuan SHI, General Secretary, MOST in Beijing for the third time during the HYFORUM 2004 conference.

June 2004, Beijing
AAE and TR had meeting No. 4 at lunch with Dinghuan SHI, General Secretary, and his team from MOST in Beijing.

July 2004, Shanghai
EU FP6 Information Day - around 100 high ranking representatives attended including AAE and TR. Dr. Jürgen Sanders, First Counsellor Science and Technology, European Union, Delegation of the European Commission, Beijing, P.R. China, explained how to participate in the 6th Framework Programme 2002-2006. Media coverage by many Chinese newspapers including report on evening television by CCTV 9.

August 2004, Munich, Germany
Information meeting in Munich to introduce the Meeting Point “Renewable Energies in China incl. Hydrogen + Fuel Cells” at the annual Shanghai International Industry Fair, November 4-9, 2004 to potential European exhibitors.
