The opening press conference of the Global Dialogue
"Science & Technology - Thinking the Future" was met with
a lively interest of the mass media.

"Research must go to the market-places of the cities!"
In her opening statement on the press conference of the
Global Dialogue 3 the German Minister for Education and Research,
Edelgard Bulmahn, emphasizes the science´s social responsibility.
"My target is science events to have just as much audience as a football match."

Prof. Dr. Hans-Jürgen Warnecke, president of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft
expects about 10.000 visitors on the
Global Dialogue "Science & Technology - Thinking the Future".
