Hydrogen + Fuel Cells at HANNOVER FAIR 2001

The Group Exhibits Hydrogen + Fuel Cell at HANNOVER FAIR are a worldwide unique presentation. Here is the only place outside the USA, where you can find the leading American companies together with European enterprises. More than 60 exhibitors will show their Hydrogen Technologies and Fuel Cell Systems, results of their research and development activities as well as commercial applications and components.

• Ballard Power Systems is the leading developer of PEM Fuel Cells. They will exhibit together with ALSTOM-BALLARD. Another manufacturer of Fuel Cells is DCH Technology from Valencia, CA as well as ElectroChem from Woburn, MA with their distributor QuinTech from Germany. Sammer Engineering from Austria is another international Trade-Organization for PEM Fuel Cells.

• DaimlerChrysler with XCELLSiS, MAN Nutzfahrzeuge and PROTON MOTOR are the market leaders in development of Fuel Cell Technologies for vehicles. ZeTek Power from the United Kingdom with their wide experiences in system integration of Alkaline Fuel Cells in vehicles will be present. The Fuel Cell Power System AG are developing new Fuel Cell Technologies.

• H Power, HGC Hamburg Gas Consult, IdaTech, Plug Power and Vaillant are leading developer of decentralised power systems with PEM-Technology, especially to be used by households and facilities. Nuvera and Anuvu are displaying Fuel Cell Systems for mobile and stationary applications.

• RWE, BEWAG and EnBW are leading energy supply companies in Germany using Fuel Cell Systems. Further European energy supplier like EBM from Switzerland attend the Group Exhibits.

• HYDROGEN SYSTEMS, NORSK HYDRO ELECTROLYSERS, Proton Energy Systems, Stuart Energy Systems, HbT, GIOVANOLA Frères from Switzerland and ELT Elektrolysetechnik are international producers of Electrolysers.

• Dynetek Industries Ltd. develops, produces and markets Storage Systems for storing compressed natural gas.

• Celanese, DuPont and W. L. Gore develop membranes and other PEM-Fuel-Cell Components.

• gaskatel, Schunk, VOSS, Bekaert, SGL Technik, dmc², Mannesmann Pilotentwicklungsgesellschaft, GfE and Porvair manufacture parts and components for Fuel Cell Systems.

• MTU Friedrichshafen is leading in the development of High Temperature MCFC's.

• ZSW - Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research, German Aerospace Center DLR, Research Centre Juelich, Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, Company of Applied Technology Greifswald, University Duisburg, CEA-DRT (French Atomic Energy Commission), University of Applied Sciences Hamburg, Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe and Sachsenring Entwicklungsgesellschaft are well-known as leading European Research-Institutions for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies.

• etaing will show Fuel Cell Systems for marine applications at the HANNOVER FAIR 2001.

• heliocentris is one of the leading developers and manufacturers of demonstration and education systems for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells. They will now display their new product lines for commercial applications.

• Peripherals for Fuel Cell Systems like measure instruments or test equipment will be displayed by SMART Electronic Development, Hydrogenics, ENKAT, Assembly Technology & Test and SAIA-Burgess Electronics Germany. The Emprise Corporation from USA specializes in alternate fuel and hybrid vehicle engine component testing.

• EUHYFIS (European Hydrogen Filling Station Consortium) has been developing a filling station for gaseous hydrogen.

• Investment Funds for "Clean Energy" offers DUX Trust Partners AG.

• German Hydrogen Association (DWV), Ludwig-Boelkow-Systemtechnik and wiba - Coordination Center of the Hydrogen Initiative Bavaria are going to display their interest in promoting the use of Hydrogen and Fuel Cells. DISTRICT de Forbach is interested in developing the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Industry in its region.

The Group Exhibits were initially founded by Arno A. Evers FAIR-PR together with Ludwig-Boelkow-Systemtechnik GmbH (Consultant for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell related projects) and Deutsche Messe AG since the HANNOVER FAIR 1995. Since HANNOVER FAIR 1998 Arno A. Evers FAIR-PR is not only the organizer but also the owner of the Group Exhibits on Hydrogen + Fuel Cells.
