The news service science (idw) is an Internet platform, which free of charge makes available current information from science and technique. Thematically arranged it permits the user to be dispatched with the choosen newest messages from the world of the science by email.

Over 500 members (universities and research institutes) feed the data base with current press releases. An extensive search function makes it possible to search the file directly.

Kirsten Lindloff of idw describes the expert broker service, which enables journalists to look for suitable specialists for a certain field of activity
