Hydrogen und Fuel Cells
on the Hannover Fair 2001
Bigger, more, more global, more comprehensive
The two joint presentations on hydrogen
technology and fuel cells on the Hannover Fair 2001 (23. to 28. April
2001) are already the greatest of this kind in the world, and they will
exceed their predecessors of the last six years in every respect.
- More space: The exhibition area
altogether is 1600 m2, about twice the size of the last fair.
- More numerous: At this time 52
exhibitors have booked (2000: 32), there are negotiations with a few
more.
- More global: The exhibitors come
from seven countries plus Germany, ten from the USA or Canada. For most
of these this is the only presence of this kind outside North America.
- More comprehensive: Apart from
the developers and the stack producers more and more supplier and applicant
companies are present, so that the whole field is on display.
The presentation will be given in halls 18
and 13. The center of interest in hall 18 are research and development;
here you meet universities, other research institutes, and companies which
show you how the future will look like. Presence and immediate future are
the main item in hall 13, because the motto there are products and services
available now or very soon. The explosive growth of this part of the presentation
is a clear indication that hydrogen and fuel cells are indeed very close
to market entry: the exhibition size in hall 13 is almost four times that
of the last time.
A common element of both parts is the Forum
where exhibitors and other experts comment their own work and current
matters interesting for the field.
By the way: the German Hydrogen Association,
participant to the joint presentations from its beginning, will be present
in both halls.
