Starting as a secret tip at HANNOVER FAIR 1995 with ten exhibitors the Group Exhibits on Hydrogen and Fuel Cell has been growing up to the largest exhibition of this kind in the world.

Whether mobile as drive system in cars, portable as electricity supplier for cellular phones or in stationary systems combined with fuel cells for electricity generation and heat supply: Hydrogen is the energy carrier of the future.
International energy supplier, the automotive industry as well as manufacturer of components or system producer discovered the potential of this technology in the near future. They are going to display their latest Developments, Products and Services at the biggest Industrial- and Energy Fair of the world, HANNOVER FAIR 2001, April 23-28.

More than 70 companies and research institutions from nine countries participate at the Group Exhibits on Hydrogen + Fuel Cells in Hall 18 and Hall 13, using a total area of 1.800 square meter.
The numerous representation of prominent North American manufacturer is unique in Europe. Market leaders such as Ballard Power Systems, H Power, IdaTech, Proton Energy Systems, Stuart Energy, Plug Power and DCH Technology are among the 15 exhibitors from Canada and the USA.
Big, middle and small companies, research institutions and universities are going to display their technologies at the Group Exhibits in Hall 18, upper floor, Booth J04.
Among others, miniature Fuel Cells - not bigger than a sugar-lump - for the use in mobile phones or laptops as well as a completely integrated fuel cell system for a modern camcorder and a design study for a fuel cell beamer will be shown there.
Ready for the market products and components will be displayed at the Group Exhibits "Products & Services " in Hall 13, Booth F50.
The range of products includes Fuel Cell heating systems, control- and monitoring solutions, high-quality membranes, the latest electrolysis technology as well as stationary Fuel Cell units in the Megawatt-area.
For this reason the Group Exhibits at HANNOVER FAIR are the only place world-wide, where the value-added-chain of this future technology on the way into commercialization will be clearly illustrated by all these exhibitors.
The exciting forum program in both halls completes the information possibilities for the visitors.
