Objectives, Tasks and Approaches Pursued

The Technology Transfer Bureau (TTB) forms the interface between research institution and industry. The function of the Technology Transfer Bureau as a central facility is to prepare and coordinate the contractual arrangements and monitor the results of industrial cooperations.
The majority of the cooperation partners are small and medium-sized enterprises. The organization of application-oriented joint developments makes an economic contribution towards solving scientific and technical problems. From the business perspective, the enterprises involved generally improve their competitive position.
