Decentralized Hydrogen Production:
The Future at the HANNOVER FAIR 2006
Momentarily all countries of the world hang dependently on oil and natural gas. For the past decades this very fact has been the source of political and economical conflict between countries that export oil and gas and those that import them.
Yet an alternative to these traditional energy sources stands now at the brink of commercialization: hydrogen and fuel cells. Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe. It can, once extracted directly through solar or by other renewable energies, be implemented as a pollution-free energy carrier. The combination of hydrogen in fuel cells creates electricity.
“The hydrogen economy makes possible a significant redistribution of energy flows—and therefore a redistribution of power—with far-reaching positive results for the society,” says Jeremy Rifkin, President of the Foundation on Economy Trends, USA (in: Die Zeit, 23.02.2006).
125 Exhibitors, Forum Participants and Hydrogen Ambassadors from 32 countries will be presenting their newest developments, products and services at the Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells at the HANNOVER FAIR 2006, April 24-28. Among the many exhibitors are well-recognized companies and institutions such as Honda Motor Europe (Japan), Hydro Electrolysers (Norway), and Siemens Power Generation (USA) as well as the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems, the German Aerospace Center and the Juelich Research Center, just to name a few.
The Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells at the annual HANNOVER FAIR is owned and operated by Arno A. Evers FAIR-PR. Since 1995 Arno A. Evers has dedicated himself to the establishment of an international platform for scientists, developers and marketing experts within the field of the international hydrogen and fuel cell community.
For the first time this year the Group Exhibit will host 12 independent research groups from 6 nations, invited and fully sponsored by Arno A. Evers FAIR-PR. These Hydrogen Ambassadors have the opportunity to exhibit their ideas and concepts for the first time at the HANNOVER FAIR 2006.
