Company's Interests:
Ultra high efficient energy conversion is the key factor to introduce, on an industrial scale, the use of hydrogen in economic large size energy storage systems. Thanks to our electrolyzer technology AccaGen SA can cover different market applications, as for example the automotive, the boat, the marine applications, the solar & wind applications and UPS. We are pleased to offer the complete set of plants for RES; specially designed and produced for these applications.

Achievements in 2004:
The long experience of AccaGen in the manufacturing of solar hydrogen and wind-hydrogen systems and the intensive R&D work in this space are at the base of the most advanced technology available today on the market with the following skills:

Best conversion efficiency from solar electrical energy to hydrogen based on direct connection of solar modules to electrolyzer and usage of most advanced material in the stack
Robust and reliable equipment construction (20 year operation)
Equipment complying with the most restrictive safety requirements
Full automatic operation, remote control via modem, GSM, LAN, RS232/485
As an example AccaGen has realized in 2004 the 30 bar hydrogen/oxygen refueling station from solar energy by Michelin in Switzerland and was building a 55 bar hydrogen generator from wind energy on the Shetland islands. Both systems are conceived as standalone plant with non grid connection.

News at HANNOVER FAIR 2005:
ACCAGEN has devoted a lot of efforts to develop advanced very high pressure and very efficient hydrogen generators. We are proud to demonstrate that this innovation work is at the base of new hydrogen energy storage systems for renewable sources at significantly reduced cost compared to other competing technologies
